Clicks has launched Boots No7, one of the world’s most recognized beauty brands, in selected stores and online, marking a significant milestone in the retailer’s strategy to strengthen its position in health and beauty through globally recognized brand partnerships.
Exclusive Arrival Follows Customer Demand
The introduction of No7 expands Clicks’ beauty offering, giving customers access to science-led skincare from a brand trusted across generations. The partnership demonstrates Clicks’ ability to secure sought-after international brands for local consumers.
“The launch of Boots No7 is a significant milestone for Clicks and further strengthens our position as South Africa’s leading health and beauty retailer,” said Bertina Engelbrecht, Clicks Group Chief Executive Officer. “As one of the world’s most iconic beauty brands, No7 brings together trusted science, innovation and consumer confidence.”
Nigel Grimes, Clicks Chief Commercial Officer, noted that customer feedback directly influenced the decision. “When we asked which global skincare brands our customers most wanted to see in South Africa, No7 came out on top,” he said.
Customer Demand and Strategic Partnership
Customers are increasingly knowledgeable and passionate about skincare, seeking trusted brands with proven ingredients and real results while maintaining choice and value, according to Bongiwe Ntuli, Clicks Group Executive of Retail.
Clicks is bringing No7 exclusively to South Africa, citing the brand’s strong heritage, science-led innovation, and multi-generational trust as key factors in expanding its beauty portfolio.
Science-Backed Range Leads the Lineup
Leading the South African collection is No7 Future Renew, the brand’s biggest scientific innovation to date. Developed through 15 years of research into skin ageing and repair, it features a world-first super-peptide blend with two new chemical entities in a patent-pending technology.
The technology supports the renewal of more than 50 key proteins in skin cells, targeting visible signs of ageing and damage. Future Renew became No7’s fastest-selling product launch, with one product selling every two seconds on launch day.
The South African collection spans six ranges: Future Renew, Lift & Luminate, Pure Retinol, Restore & Renew, Hydra Luminous+ and Cleansing, covering age-defying skincare, retinol, hydration, radiance and everyday cleansing.
For No7, South Africa represents a new market in its international expansion. “Clicks was the natural partner to introduce No7 to the market, with its nationwide store network and growing digital presence offering South African consumers accessible beauty and skincare expertise,” said Mark Winter, Managing Director of No7 Beauty Company.
No7 is available exclusively at Clicks across 200 stores nationwide and online, with products priced from R249 to R599. Born in Britain in 1935, the brand brings nearly 90 years of beauty heritage, combining decades of skincare expertise with scientific research and product development, and is currently the UK’s No.1 skincare brand.
