Patrick Ta Beauty has bolstered its leadership with two key hires: Angela Simpson as Chief Marketing Officer and Carolyne Rapp as VP of Creative. These appointments, effective immediately, aim to support the brand’s continued growth and expansion.

Founded in 2019 by makeup artist Patrick Ta, the cosmetics company aims to build on its recent successes in product development, artistic expression, and narrative-driven marketing with these new additions.

Simpson’s extensive career spans over 20 years in the beauty industry, focusing on global brand development, marketing strategies, and commercial growth. She joins from Haus Labs by Lady Gaga, where she held the same CMO position. Previously, Simpson spent nearly a decade at NARS as Senior VP of US Marketing, overseeing the launch of their Light Reflecting Foundation. Her earlier roles include leadership positions at Sephora, owned by LVMH, and L’Oréal Paris.

Rapp, with over 15 years of experience in beauty, fashion, retail, and design, will oversee creative direction, brand identity, campaigns, and visual storytelling. She was most recently VP Creative Director at Merit Beauty and also founded her own creative agency, Studio Rapp, offering consultancy services across multiple industries.

These appointments coincide with the brand’s recent product and campaign launches, such as the Major Sculpt Shape & Shade Anywhere Artistry Sticks and the “Defining You” campaign in August 2026, featuring seven makeup artists and celebrating individual expression.
